We earn through Amazon links — and only Amazon links.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Below is exactly how the business model works, what it does and doesn't fund, and why we picked the version that pays us only when a recommendation actually fits.
01How it works
Six lines that describe the whole arrangement.
If a single page can explain how the site earns and how that affects what you read, this is that page.
- 01 We earn through Amazon only
When you click a product link on CupDeck and buy something on Amazon within their cookie window, we may receive a small commission. The price you pay is identical — no markup, no surcharge.
- 02 No brand pays for placement
No manufacturer, distributor, or PR agency pays to be recommended or to rank higher. We do not run sponsored posts. We do not accept gifted units in exchange for coverage. If a product is recommended, it earned the slot on fit.
- 03 Fit beats margin
Some categories pay more commission than others. We do not let that change which product wins a section. The selection logic is documented in the methodology page — and it never includes commission rate.
- 04 We do not show prices on this site
Amazon listings shift hourly, so we describe products by budget tier rather than a hard-coded number. Open the Amazon link to see the current price before deciding.
- 05 Out-of-stock products are flagged
When a recommended item is discontinued or unavailable, we update the page rather than leaving a dead link. If you spot one we missed, the contact page exists for exactly this.
- 06 Independence has a cost
Because we accept no sponsorship, the site is supported entirely by affiliate commissions on links readers actually find useful. That alignment — we earn only when a recommendation works for you — is the only business model we trust.
02If you want to verify
Three places to check the logic yourself.
Now back to the actual recommendations

Six questions, no email required. The recommendation is based on fit — never on which product pays us most.
